What Joda is for
Joda is a marketplace for South Asian fashion in all forms — bridal lehengas and sarees, casual kurtas, streetwear, Indo-western fusion, jewelry, accessories, shoes, and more — plus relevant cultural and fashion services such as henna, makeup, hair, draping, tailoring, styling, and photography. Listings and provider profiles should be honest, relevant, and represented by content the poster has the right to use.
Prohibited items
Counterfeit or replica designer items passed off as authentic
Items not related to South Asian fashion or occasionwear
Stolen goods
Items that violate copyright or trademark
Prohibited content
Photos that sexually exploit anyone
Hateful, discriminatory, or threatening language
Spam or duplicate listings for the same item
False or misleading product claims
Stock photos, watermarked images from other sites
Stolen portfolio media or photos used without permission
Misleading service claims, qualifications, availability, pricing, or results
Prohibited service offerings
Illegal, unsafe, or dangerous services
Services requiring a qualification, license, permit, insurance, or other authorization that the provider does not hold where required
Impersonated providers or services offered under another person's or business's identity
Prohibited behaviour
Impersonating another seller, brand, or person
Leaving fake reviews or manipulating ratings
Pressuring buyers off-platform to dodge reviews, reporting, or safety protections
Coordinated inauthentic activity
Reporting violations
Use the “Report this listing” or “Report this provider” action on the relevant page. We review reports and act on confirmed violations; we do not promise a response time. For urgent safety issues, email support@jodacollective.com.
Enforcement tiers
Warning
First-time minor violations (missing measurement, low-quality photo). We'll explain the issue and give you time to correct it.
Listing removal
Content that violates this policy is removed. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension.
Account suspension
Repeated violations or moderately serious offenses. A suspension may be temporary or permanent.
Permanent ban
Fraud, counterfeit items, or serious harm to other users. No appeal.
